    I failed my 2 Unit yearly exam for Year 11 and my teacher tried to get me to drop down to General Math's. I decided to stay in 2 Unit because I knew I could do better; my exam result was definitely the result of little effort on my part (I never did my homework and messed around in class)...

    Yes :) If you haven't already, you should listen to the soundtrack from 'The Power Of One'. Most of the compositions are by Hans Zimmer, who is a genius.

    LOL. We have only one teacher that can teach the Extension II course, apparently. My school's excuse was that because only one student (myself) wanted to pick up the extra unit of English, it 'was not worth' anyone's time. Then my teacher started going on about how it's a really difficult...

    So has everyone done all the HSC subject selections?

    We were told during a year meeting in Week 2 or 3 (I can't remember exactly), that we will only be allowed to drop subjects for Year 12 next year in Term 1. Is anyone else's school doing this?

    It generally helps me but it usually depends on what piece it is. Pieces like the 1812 Overture are distracting. :)
