It may not be great, but there is a nightlife here! Great if you live on campus, it's only a short walk to the city. There is also a good mixture of people from all over Australia. I resent being called a hick!:burn:

Vaseline- I got told that it isn't that good for your lips, but I still use it!! Pros: It keeps your lips moist without being sticky. Cons:Rubs off easily. I usually put lip gloss over it, I don't like lipstick at all! It's too dry.

I'm thinking of going there at the end of the year. Has anyone been recently? Is it true that they let you into the nightclubs if you are under 21 (and over 18), but you can't buy alcohol? Or do you have to be over 21 to enter clubs/pubs?

I wear what I usually wear in summer,I just take a jacket with me. Even if there isn't a cloakroom, we just leave our jackets near where we are dancing.
