oooohhhhhhhhh BsciIT forget about my last post about Bsci, typo confused me there :p

as for Bsci there are a range of majors to choose from, usually what you do is complete your first yr subjects and see what type of science interests you the most- then go from there any other questions talk to ken brown for Bsci related questions

uni isnt all fun and making friends- there is some work involved you are the best judge of how close to failing you are, but considering youre a 1st yr student ill say take it easy its only been one week- put some effort in or dont bother wasting your time collecting hecs debt

yeah more often than not you have to wait around for chemical reactions to occur, but you spend that time chatting with ppl also clean up as you go- dont leave it all till the end

well lectures are usually auto-allocated and should be highlighted orange as seen in the previous pic it should be there, to be sure confirm you are enrolled into that subject and that its showing up in your subject activities

the orange highlight shows allocated slots which u cannot change- ie lectures pracs can be changed and therefore are not highlighted

what little code are you talking about the dates or AUT_KG thing?
