i haven't fallen asleep yet, but mine are all 11 am+, so it's ok. I tend to not pay attention in QMA though, especially on Thursday cos it's the last lecture for the week. Also our lecturer has a really boring, sleepy voice, like she's not interested at all in what she's teaching which doesn't help.
Hi,
I'm studying Japanese from scratch like you Snowe. I do it at UNSW however. Here it's 5 hours a week (2 x 2 hr tutes and 1 lecture) + 1 hour self study, during which you can go listen to audio/do homework/bludge etc.
We use Nakama 1 which is quite a nice book and has some interesting...
That happened with my class as well. I guess when you're trying to be as sophisticated as you can, using difficult structures in such a short time then you're bound to make little mistakes. Our teacher's advice (probably yours too) was to leave say 5 min at the end to just go over your response...
I reckon that even if there were a more big blockbuster-type film coming out, people will still see this in droves. This is the part of the storyline that people have been dying to see since the prequels were announced, and even before that with the original trilogy.
It'll be a shame if it...
nope, single player
It's a good game, very detailed (graphics and story-wise) but you get a bit lonely walking around doing quests/killing mobs by yourself. That's why MMORPGs are better.
yeah i agree, but some of the material is identical to the stuff in the CRK.
I think they do it to sort of deter people from just printing off the slides and not going to any lectures at all.
The lecturer we have now just reads the slides out a lot of the time so there's not that much to...
I'd like to volunteer for something, anything. Is it too late to sign up for this Eco/BS competition helping-out deal? In any case you guys are always on the lookout for volunteers throughout the year for the events that you organise, right?
Are the meetings only on at 12pm Thursdays though...
Yeah like you said it's dumb how we can't even contact them to find out what's going on. I'm just gonna go to the support centre place in the library tomorrow before my lecture and ask.
On Tuesday they told me that even though we're already in it we have to put our details down on their list. That night I asked my sister (who also did Commerce) and she said there are two types of members, active and passive, so I guess the list was for those who want to become active members...
I think Squidward is the funniest - I don't really like the show because Spongebob is such an annoying character, but Squidward cracks me up with his sarcasm and paranoia..
At the very start, like in primary school, Emily Rodda's Rowan books were a favourite of mine. And Gillian Rubinstein's Space Demons series were good as well. In high school I read Eddings mostly.
A vertical scrolling shoot em up, like Raptor and all those old arcade games.
Just thought of a few more - Abuse, Castles I and II, Another World, Altered Beast, Battle Chess, Flashback, etc..
