Failed some of my trials? All hope is lost??? [HELP]

My friend (just) failed her trials and one of her assessment tasks and she still managed a mark of 84 for chemistry so no hope is lost. Lots of people fail the trials and manage to get 90+ dw. Just do well in externals and you'll be fine - this would be some motivation for you to do well too :)

Have a read of the threads of people who dropped law and hated it (and talk to them) :) Your situation is pretty common I guess.

Advice from past participants for titration competition?

Went last year. Tbh, how you go it depends on you. I know people who practise every lunch and still screwed up on the day. Time is not an issue and there's more than enough chemicals to redo it. Also, make sure at least one person knows how to do the calculations (one of my friends totally...

How many units are you doing?

*personal experience* less is not always better. If you like all your subjects + good ranks theres no reason to drop. But yeah, if you believe you'll smash all the 10 units then go for it :)

Ngo and Sons English @ Parra

You'll be fine, I doubt 100% are from selective schools anyway. You're there to learn and it's not like they'll judge you for saying something stupid. The atmosphere for Diab is actually pretty nice and not intimidating haha.

Back to school HW diary tips needed

Diaries are necessary for me for homework (my memory is really bad) so usually after the class ends, write what still needs to be done. At home, cross off the work you do. Always write when assignments are due, school events (even room changes are good too). I think what makes a diary appealing...

    Mr Troung

Depends but he likely will. Usually mid year 10 is the last time they'll accept any enrolments (starting year 11 work). Btw, even if you finished year 10, you have to follow his methods. Give him a call and take the entrance exam (I started in yr10) and be very nice:)
