If i dont get 90+ (sort of looking likely..) im planning on taking a gap year, during which i'll do 3 units of HSC mathematics, sit the assessments and do the exam at the end of the year. That way, it'll still be a pretty relaxing year, without being a total waste, and it'll boost my UAI :D :D...

Yep, question 4 is the only question where you will lose marks if you don't write in essay format. For all other questions, the markers give you marks for content, not the structure of your response - so yeah, dot point answers are fine. Although just be careful you dont fall into the trap of...
