So if you were caught carrying a gun that was used to kill someone you are automatically involved with the murder??? It doesn't rule out the possibility that it could have been planted
I probably am "biased". I am not claiming to have a vast knowlege of the case. I just gave a few of the reasons which came to mind. I simply feel her trial was not sufficient to prove her guilt.
It's stupid to punish so many people who need our support at this times because of our dislike at their laws. Why should so many suffer because of one disputed decision
Points not whether or not she was quilty...It's whether or not they have enough proof to establish her guilt beyond reasonable doubt...which I don't think they do. My reasons are as follows
1) Some evidence which could have made a difference was discounted
2) baggage handlers make mistakes...
People are talking about it because she got such intense media coverage. It happened at a time when Australia is obviously trying to strengthen ties with the Indonesian government. But its not whether she is guilty or innocent that people should be concerned about, it's the fact that her defence...
It takes a special kind of person to appreciate this movie...you either love it or you don't! I am indeed one of those "special" kinds of people! plus the "I caught you a delicious bass" line would make anyone laugh!
