there's a part of the genre syllabus that says u must study at least 2 print texts. this kinda screws me up, seeing as i've focused my study on snowfalling/bigsleep, and haven't really extended my study from what we've done in class on hound... should i seriously b using this week to study...

there's also the moody soundtrack. something u only get in the form of film noir, not in any of the hardboiled pulps, etc. (seems obvious but often forgotten). the soundtrack that creates meaning through crescendos at those vital moments, creates a contrast with the criminal/romantic atmosphere...

I thought Conflict in Pacific was pretty ace. Midway was really specific, but I'd happened to study it yesterday, so it all just 'flowed'. That was just luck tho. Although, 2nd question on occupation was pretty good too, looked broad tho.

yeah, society was super broad, but the historiography went in nicely. it sort of felt like going through all the syllabus points tho.. i went into opposition/conformity, volks,social/cultural, role of hitler, foreign policy and military defeat, gees. didn't get to exactly go into TOO much detail...

nah, it's not only catholic schools, it's all through the syllabus that little listing of " justice for individual, society" etc

where in the syllabus does it say u need an annotated bibliography? my teach decided that it would b unnecessary, i've used and relied on so many sources that the bibliography would end up being longer than the major work... so am i going to lose marks for this? the mw is bound, finished...

yeah there was no human rights short answers in ours either!! i had a great case study too.... very annoyed (and it just goes to show the law/justice bit can be swapped with human rights for short answer/multiple choice!!!)
