My school used 'Art Investigator' by Michele Stockly & A.R.T (Art, Research, Theory) I know the co- author for that is Craig Maylon (the guy that wrote the Excel 'HSC visual arts in a month') both those text books have loads of artists, artworks & movements.

Just wondering how everyone is finding their course so far? (especially those students from yr 12 last yr) I've just started welfare at Baturst and although its alot of work & we already have our first assesment I love it!!! I'm also enjoying the whole TAFE environment. :)

Because sum TAFE courses require no specific requirements 4 entry like uni, Although cert IV and dip courses do require specific requirements 4 entry

It's a bit of both really it also depends on what level of course your doing. Cert IV and diploma courses are set out like uni courses and just as challenging

I have to agree with KFunk I was doing Food Technology & German which had periods cut because of the class sizes. When that happens it calls for independant learning and self- motavation, just use the periods that you're not in the classroom to learn what you would in class and you'll be fine

I did pathways because of my physical disability and other conditions that caused me to stuggle with the workload. I found it hard starting in a new year but soon settled in pathways is a great option because your workload is less and considering your circumstances it would be the way to go...
