    Newcastle University does it (Educational Access Scheme) its an extra 4 UAI points but you have to be a regional student ie have studied in Newcastle and apply for the university. Ha, I could be one of the lucky ones and do that (I study in Newwie), except i'm aiming for UTS...no extra points...

    Hmmm well, i read most of that, sorry, i'm tired, but yes I'll agree with you that the English staff are the gestapo when it comes to marking - we had a speech to do instead of an essay...most of Advanced English got under 15/20...ugh...so yeah i'll rant here too when essay writing time comes...

    Depends entirely on how much effort you put in yourself and how others in your class go in these subjects (assessment wise) Is this for year 11 or 12 btw? History Extension isnt offered till Year 12....

    I'm doing 10 units and I must say that the extra time to concentrate on other subjects is divine - especially since I have extension english 1+2 and history extension. If you aren't doing so well in geography I'd drop it mate, since it wont get included in your UAI if its your lower mark...
