ok. in that case you are correct, but on a general level rankings are not a great indication of ability, due to variables in competition across different schools

my school sucks, so laugh at the rankings a bit: business Studies= 90 , rank 2/20 English= ass. 73 , rank 18/94 Senior Science 91, rank 1/18 Maths= 84 , rank 5/90 Agriculture = ass. 75 , rank 1 ( heaps weird) Studies of Religion 2 = ass. 89 , rank 1 not too bad i think

yeh ,man i love maths.I did advanced nearly all the way through school.I was in the top 20, in year 10 and was told i should have done at least 3unit maths.But hey, i felt like a bluge and did general for yr 11/12.At least it was fun and i was heaps up myself in that course.

there are heaps of schools in the state and 37th is pretty good.I think it's better then my old school, st columba's by a long shot

yeh, you can study heaps, but the academic ability really needs to be present as well. Others say the uai is an effort mark.

the lamest thing i did in school was in yr 12.I went early into class to hide behind the door waiting for my teacher to come in, and then when they did i yelled ' suprise!' I stuffed it up and i was shocked to discover the person who came in was a relief teacher i had never seen i my life!

don't worry, you just gotta hope most people lose 3 or 4 marks.It's where you sit in the state that counts- i like your determination!

I think the mark matters more than the ranking.For example while a raw mark of 90 may have placed you as 1 in one school may be placed as 28 in a school with a higher academic rigor.That's my guess
