Maybe it matters for internal exams where pedantic teachers can exercise their discretion, but for the external HSC exam no one really cares as there aren’t any marks allocated to the conclusion. If you want something to follow then see the official HSC sample answers.

Look up the Maths Ext2 BoS trials. A lot of the old syllabus questions on resisted motion and projectile motion are applicable in the current syllabus as well.

Just a remark. Generally speaking, definite integrals where one of the points is undefined (x = 0 in this case) does not really appear in the HSC exam itself - if it ever does then they make it very clear you are taking the limiting value rather than evaluating it at that undefined end point.

Hint: Split the definite integral of ln(sin 2x)
