Is it true that HSC papers generally go from easy to hard by page number? That’s what I noticed in 2020-2023

Will you be penalised for drawing graphs in pen? Or will you be penalised for drawing graphs in pencil and not tracing over the final sketch in pen? Can you leave it in pencil?

    Mathematics Advanced Predictions/Thoughts

Fuck! I didn’t have time to do any top school trial papers. I only did the 2020-2023 past HSC papers.

    Mathematics Advanced Predictions/Thoughts

As far as I’m aware, 2023 didn’t have a trapezoidal rule question so it’s bound to come this year.

I hate the finance questions in advanced. Might as well skip them and come to them at the end if there’s still time. They’re literal essays even though it’s shared content with standard. Or is recurrence relation only advanced?

Class of 2025 (2025 HSC CHAT)

Everyone in English Advanced 2025 will unfortunately need to read their actual texts in full instead of watching/reading summaries, as they will likely question you with extract(s) in the exam because they didn't this year and didn't last year.

What from Year 11 Maths Advanced Comes in Year 12?

Everything, however all explicit Year 11 content generally will not exceed 30% of the exam. Examples of explicit Year 11 content are sine rule, trig identities etc But Year 11 content is integral (no pun intended) to a lot of Year 12 content. Eg Year 12 content finding the derivative of xsinx...

List of content omitted from 2017 syllabus for 2024 exam

It’s really fucking annoying to find a complete 2024 summary of what will not be tested in the 2024 Maths Advanced HSC exam. I know two things that are in the current syllabus that won’t be tested(?) - Simpson’s Rule - Area bound by the y-axis - P = Ae^kt (Correct me if I’m wrong on the above...

How does English Modules work for HSC?
