Don't put your hopes up by thinking if you "achieve that 1 extra ATAR", then you will get accepted. The demand fluctuates as you already should know, so the requirement may increase.

Unfortunately.. they don't work that way. If you decide to study part-time then when you want to transfer, the university will only consider your ATAR. I know.. it sucks. My advice personally, this is just a suggestion... but you can study full-time for 1 yr and then transfer to your ideal...
