Yes. Play games, enjoy life, try to fix sleeping habits but end up spending it on BOS instead (not necessarily in order).

    2o13 Q10

Well, it eliminates A and B straight off if you notice the solution to the equation given is -2 \leq x \leq 3. And yeah I do, thank you =)

    2o13 Q10

Kuro is here =). Fastest way I can think of is take cases as to whether x < 2, 2 \leq x \leq 3, x >3. By inspection, solution to the original equation is -2\leq x \leq 3 You can actually eliminate A and B straight off using this, and then you just need to choose between C and D; D can...

Confused about delta H for spontaneous reactions

What you might want to look into is entropy and Gibbs free energy to see how enthalpy factors into the spontaneity of a process.

What's the best way to go about learning Perms and Combs?

Yes. Do problems. Terry Lee's Fundamental Mathematics is pretty decent for combinatorics, and it also has worked solutions included in the book. Otherwise, I suggest looking at those past HSC books published by Coroneos and trying the problems in them (they also come with worked solutions).

    lol probability question

Use the calculator to find out the value of the fraction and see if they're identical values for as many decimal places as the calculator can give.

    lol probability question

    a. For each egg, the probability of the offspring not being an albino is \frac{31}{33}. As there are 3 eggs, the probability of none of them being albinos would be (\frac{31}{33})^3, since none of the eggs can have albinos inside. c. Just subtract the probability of having 0 albinos from 1...

Do teachers universally follow this routine?

He loves what he does, which I really admire (in fact, there are 3 people in their late 60s or 70s in the maths department at my school, one of whom is retiring this year). But yeah, he told me once that he loves teaching and won't stop for a good couple of years at least.

Where do HSC examiners come from
