Normally i just learn all the techniques and quotes, and maybe a very broad thesis which is adapted to a more specific question during the test, to me memorizing the whole thing seems like a bit of a waste of time, especially when there's other subjects to study for.
Me and some mates are going to the goldcoast for schoolies. When do you reckon we should book? Can you get rooms for 3 people? we were planning on meeting most of everyone else up there and just book for the 3 of us.
Also any tips or advice you have from your own situation trying to book...
Ah yes, well regardless, if i fluke an over 90% in the prelims with about an hour of study maximum i'll think about keeping it, otherwise it's getting sooo dropped :music:
Haha, well keep in mind my school is run by alot of foolish people :rofl2:
They said after Prelims you can move up, and the guy who organises it all said to everyone "Coming last in advanced is better than first in standard".
Well i'm glad to hear that, although i like Shakespeare i dislike...
As yr11 ends i'm faced with a bit of a dilemma, I'm first out of 60 in standard English without too much effort, should i move up to advanced? keep in mind i hate English (pointless subjective crap) and would rather not subject myself to more complex torture.
Will everyone elses rubbish marks...
I doubt it, no one does VET courses in our class, but yeah we're in the same boat, cept we only learnt theory for one week and he gave up half way through cus people mucked up.
I feel for you, i'm so glad i am getting out of the stinking shithole that is SDD.
We've only done that in one...
Well let me start by saying i regret picking SDD, and i'm glad 4U maths will allow me to drop it.
My teacher has made us spent this whole year on Q Basic (Which can go die in a fire) and only 2 weeks before the Prelims he went through all the theory with us and called it "Revision" even thought...
I'm going to have:
EXT maths 2, STND eng (I do really good in it), physics and engineering, i want to drop SDD, as i also have a 1 unit subject with no ATAR that i'm forced to do, i'd rather have 11 (10 ATAR) than 13 units, what do you guys think?
