I dont. You need to do subjects that you will do well in, and those are the ones you enjoy. 2 unit and 3 unit maths is not required, there are no pre-requisites for engineering. You either take fundemental units or do a bridging course to pick up the assumed knowledge, and even this isnt...

That is quite possibly the softest timetable i have ever seen. im there 20 hours p/w!

I think it was fairly obvious that i was saying he had to put in the years and i wasnt talking about study, because i actually said something to the effect of the intensity of study wont matter. But that doesnt matter on an internet forum, all you look for in an argument is little insignificant...

hours as in years. as in just do the hsc.

Sometimes the intensity of work isnt enough, sometimes you just have to put in the hours. My god if i could go back to year 9... well i wouldnt, but im sure i will feel like i would when exams start in uni.

Dude go to school, get over your own intellegence, socialise with people your own age. If you are worried you will lose interest in maths after not doing it for 1 year, obviously you arent that passionate about it anyway. You are only 14 or so, there is no way of knowing what your own passions...

All countries (at least most) speak some english. Its not as though we have mandtory Mandarin classes. Its a different scenario, because most international students grow up with some exposure to english, and most australians have no exposure to thai, cantonese, mandarin, indonesian ,etc.

Its called school...i would have thought you would have learned that by now. Also, its probably best if you do finish HSC english, if nothing else it might teach you to spell.
