What is the preferred structure for the essay to get Band 6? Base it around the thesis and go through the texts separately or integrate them?

Im doing a novel called The Other Hand (2008) by Chris Cleave as my first related text. Just wondering how much should you write on the second one? Is it true you can just put a sentence on it? My essay is already 1252 words without the second related text :L

Hate measurement with a passion..especially conversions!! Anyone found a way to do them confidently? and knowing when to divide and whatnot or i'm just so bad at these basic things :L Was attempting the 2003 paper but it was heavily on measurement so i gave up lol
