Response: "I'm sorry about that, if you go up to the service desk they can add the points on..... ooh look here's a customer, how are you today?"

Our CSM doesn't do that much in the way of reminding about stuff like that. I meant the little text screen that sits where the scanned items go before you scan the first itme.

I don't. I'm so rebel. Also, how annoying is the reminder to "Please ask customers for their FlyBuys card"?

I was going to mention that, there's a difference between shoplifting and forgetting to pay for something you've eaten along the way.

Did she identify herself as a Coles employee? If they did find out I would say it would be a sackable offence - employee theft would be a serious matter. We have enough problems trying to contain shoplifiting without having employees doing it. You also might want to look at section 3.8.1 of...

I guess that couldn't hurt, I'd just make sure to try and go at a quiet period where the Deli manager would have time to talk to you.

Mum and Dad just got back from shopping and said there was some guy in Woolworths Devonport giving out free samples and selling a ShamWow ripoff. I don't think Woolworths would let someone demo a product they didn't actually sell themselves?

I've decided I'm going to me more assertive to people who want lots of cash out.

Apparently Service has gone way over budget this week (I knew that was going to happen, we had 7 people on Australia Day night and it was dead as) so many people are having their shifts cut over the place. My friend lost a 7 hour shift today, she was so pissed off. Don't worry, you're coming...

I never quite got why our agreement had a seperate pay rate schedule for non-extended trading hour stores but that makes sense. It's only an extra $9.70 a week though. Ha, I had to help unload some of our freezers into the big freezer last week and they paid me an extra 23 cents for working...

I think Coles' is a bit low-key so far. Just some shelf talkers and POS advertising. Don't know if there's more to come on Feb 1 though

I think Devonport had started putting their POS out, they had signage over their security beepers and a big sign on the floor in the dairy freezer. I'm sure the meat fridge kebabs were /kg priced, I'm sure the packets had different prices. But I wasn't really paying much attention to be honest.

Can someone tell me why chicken kebabs are charged individually when buying from the Deli but by weight in the meat fridge? Also, I really like the new Deli stickers nice work.

Generally Sick Leave is not paid out, that's why a lot of people try to use up what they have before they retire/resign.

I got rostered for an 8-hour shift next saturday (normally I only get like 4/5hours and 8hours if they ask me to come in early) because about 3/4 of our store's junior staff have taken the weekend off to go to MS Fest

OMG tonight was the best bludge shift ever!! there were way too many operators on and hardly any customers. I spent about half an hour trying to sell bunches of flowers for $2.00. Apparently my voice has a "bouncy" quality to it over the PA :S
