    Entry into Medicine

I hope so! However, I still want to work in the public sector (where we are truely needed) for a couple of years.

    Entry into Medicine

certainly there are always exceptions such as a 290+/300 umat. But realistically, 99 is pretty much what is required. Our high school has 40+ students get into either Dentistry or Medicine every year. I only know of 1-2 of that 40+ with less 99 enter. That's just from my experience.

Easier to get in Med or Dentistry?

The "minimum 90" is posted all over charles Sturt. (how can they access these boards and not access the website?) Go to the website, then search dental science. I'm fine with your language. Feel free to further incriminate yourself, it brings much joy and amusement to my day actually.

Easier to get in Med or Dentistry?

Move on with life sweet heart. Stop lingering around this board at your age. Your insight is useless to say the least. ANYONE can simply check that the minimum required is 90 (on the website). Students come here for a clearer indication of the level of achievement required for entry, not a...

Easier to get in Med or Dentistry?

Your vulgar use of language is disgusts me. I never thought such an intellectual place would harbour people such as yourself. Clearly, you were from a rural area to be offered a place with 90?

Easier to get in Med or Dentistry?

The minimum requirements are cut offs to be considered. 90 is no clear indication just as Melbourne's "minimum" 97 medicine, 95% of offers are still high 99.6+. As for the Masters, please look outside the box. The application for specialist training or Ph. Ds are very competitive. The fact that...

Easier to get in Med or Dentistry?

I highly, HIGHLY, doubt 90 will get you into Dentistry. La trobe's dentistry (one of the easiest to get into) is even predicted to be above 99.0 this year. Awaiting first round clearly-in figures...

    Entry into Medicine

Medicine is arguably the hardest course to attain a position in. However, with diligent hard work you will get there. Most medicine students have been studying for their position at a much younger age with intense extra tuition and studying. It is important to remember that a 35 in chemistry...

Easier to get in Med or Dentistry?

In actuality, Dentistry at Melbourne University is harder to get in than Medicine. Just because there are less positions available. About 60-70 students are accepted into Dentistry and about 200 into Medicine. I have 4 friends studying at Melbourne Dentistry, two was offered FULL FEE Dentistry...
