When I got out of the exam, I thought I got around 69 raw mark but just after checking with Terry Lee's solutions, if I remember my answers correctly, I got 66 raw.
So close to 80%...:(
Same here. :)
Does anyone remember what the question about Sulfur Dioxide calculation was about?
I think I was being stupid and just skimmed over the question so what I did was calculate the volume and got some massive number 500 something litres. Someone told me the question asked about...
I was just wondering, is section I and section II in separate books or is the whole exam stapled together?
I know this is only a small detail but when I get curious, it's hard for me to stop wondering. =p
Re: Anyone know what the raw mark needed for band 6 and 5 for chemistry for previous
I thought the general consensus was that we can't predict the raw cut-off for a band 6.
Re: King Lear Module B
Well I'm pretty impressed with the question because as you've mentioned in other threads, this wasn't one of those mere "regurgitate your generic essay" type questions especially when you compare it to Mod C Truth.
I'm glad that the question said "at least one"...
The exam overall wasn't too hard at all, BOS is very kind this year.
Despite saying that, I don't think I did too well. I stuffed up Mod C Truth and as it was the most generic question, I don't think they'll mark it kindly.
Goodbye Band 6. :(
Ah! Nobody believe what she says. She always says stuff like this and gets at least 14/15. :p
I think it's because a lot of Asians write about boat people. :D
At first I thought my creative fit perfectly with the last quote about "mosaics" and stuff but now in retrospect, I'm not sure anymore. I guess just have to cross my fingers.
Oh yeah and I wrote about 6 and a half pages.
This is the first time I was able to finish this section. I didn't really count how many pages I did. Maybe 5?
I just hope I don't get owned by this section is all. C'mon above 10. *crosses fingers*
Section I: This is usually my weakest section and I can't finish in time but this time it really flowed and found that I was able to finish in time. I'm not really sure how I fared in this section. I hope for 10+.
Section II: I was able to adapt my creative to quote c), the one about mosaics...
I did Imaginative Journeys and I thought the question was pretty straight forward. I wrote about 8 pages with mid-sized writing. All in all, it should be my best section out of the three.
