    Line of best fit

    HSC Final mark

My understanding is that your final internal mark is dependent on the mark of the same rank achieved by your cohort for the HSC. So, if I'm correct, you would be getting the 7th highest HSC mark for 3U maths as your internal mark but still keep your external mark. Say the 7th mark is 80, your...

    URGENT!!!!!!!!!!! biology trial tips

Make sure you answer the question with close reference to the verb. Explain means to give cause and effect while evaluate means you would have to make a judgement. People who disregard these usually lose marks for 'not answering the question.' This is especially important in those last 6-7 mark...

Weighting of Texts in an E1 Essay

    trig functions

    Shouldn't it be either x or theta. If so, sin^2 (x) = 1 / 2 (1 - (1 - 2sin^2 (x)) sin^2 (x) = 1 / 2 (1 -1 + 2sin^2 (x)) sin^2 (x) = 1 / 2 (2sin^2 (x)) sin^2 (x) = sin^2 (x)

    Thoughts on CSSA chemistry?

I spent way too much time on the two 6 mark questions for Industrial and ended up having to guess a few multiple choice questions because of it.

    Thoughts on CSSA chemistry?

We did Industrial Chemistry. I got stuck on that 7 mark question asking for the graphical trends. Not that it was difficult, but wasn't sure what they wanted to make up 7 marks :/

That's true if you live in the greater western suburbs. UWS gives special consideration to those from western suburbs. They have a postcode list on the website where you can check to see if you're eligible. For others the cutoff remains at 95.55.
