No, you get it and tell me what it's like. :) I think I'm getting ADSL2+ with a wireless modem and router now anyway, much cheaper and better value for money. I might buy prepaid Wireless once I start getting a job or when it gets cheaper.
BTW, thanks for the site. TPG seems really cheap. Also looking at iPrimus which is equally cheap. However, they do not offer true Wireless internet (only Wireless LAN ADSL2+, various other wireless home networks) but I've done a bit of research and Wireless is very costly and still at risk of...
Cable is a form of Broadband connection (like ADSL, ADSL2) which basically uses a Cable modem that applies the technology used to transmit Cable TV. Since it is a physical cable, Cable internet tends to be one of the fastest Broadband services available. All this from five minutes of googling.
I would think the TV show would be better, simply because I've been disappointed by most crime books I've read in the past. And Dexter is just awesome in general.
Re: Felt Tip Pins etc?
I use about 10 different coloured pens when writing notes, usually fine point because it keeps my writing much neater. For exams, I use a very fat pointed pen as it just glides straight across the page.
My mum doesn't really care, as long as I seriously dedicate myself to my studies during the HSC and try my best. :) Of course, I have to get into a relatively good University course that offers prospects of a good career.
I think Modern would have been personally more enjoyable for me. Ancient right now seems very content based. Although there is a bit of argumentative essay writing involved, I think the style of writing involved is rather, ah-hem (no offence intended to AH lovers) juvenile?
I've you've read one of my other threads on this IT forum, you'll know that I'm purchasing a MacBook very soon (in the upcoming school holidays, yay!) and I'll be needing a new internet connection because my desktop is still stuck to Bigpond's Cable Broadband.
First off, I'd like to ask which...
Guess that was expected since Powerpoint 2007 loses effects in 2003. This probably means I'll bring my MacBook to school for serious and important presentations.
Awesome. Thanks.
I found out Keynote is compatible with MS Powerpoint, as well as older versions. That's just absolutely fantastic what the team have done at Apple to make sure PC-users can easily adjust. :) I'm addicted to Macs already, and I don't even have one (yet).
Just one more...
No idea whether you're responding the first post or another one as to as I had a post before yours asking whether to get a standard MacBook or a MacBook Pro, as well as 1GB or 2GB memory, 2.1 or 2.4 Ghz, but it somehow got deleted. Anyway, that's my new question, taking in mind I will use the...
New question, should I get a MacBook or MacBook Pro? And 1GB memory, or 2GB?
As I said, I'll use my MacBook mostly for school work, organisational programs, and general photos, music and movies.
Re: Does anyone agree that the Preliminary Exams are much more difficult?
The Preliminary Exam for Society and Culture today was heaps dodgy. Probably because our Social Science department purchases them from cheap companies because it was blabbing on about the nature of the Society and Culture...
I do Ancient History and the subject has one of the least workloads, ever. According to my teacher, AH has the least workload out of most subjects even in the HSC.
