    everyones studying? ahh

Don't study before prelim year even starts - it's a waste of time and you'll burn out. Things you can do that will help you but don't feel like full-on study: Maths exercises (as much as I hate to say it) Read books Play your instrument if you take Music Maybe just read textbooks if you have...

do you wear sunscreen every day?

Not exactly. It's naturally half blonde and half dark red, so the overall colour is ginger/dark blonde. Don't get me started on my hair :|

do you wear sunscreen every day?

Yep. Cancer Council roll-on sunscreen to make it quick and easy. Every single day, even in winter. I burn like toast... hence the screen name.

    How to think of idea?

"Then remember, allegory and embellish." How do you mean? I'm lost :| I do the mobile thing too :) - sometimes it's just a quote or a line of description for something else. I haven't started yet either, still have no idea what I'll do with my short story

how often do u wash ur hair?

I wash mine every day or every second day (usually in winter). It gets really oily and disgusting if I leave it longer than two - even the second day is kinda gross. What do you do with yours when it's dirty? I have to tie mine up :|

    im screwed! :(

Primary teaching hey? I'm aiming for that too, and seriously you only need 70s for some universities here, for example UOW. You don't need 90 for primary teaching - I think the highest it gets is 87 or something at USYD. Check the UAC book to see for sure. There's no point burning yourself...

    A little assignement help, please?!

That is incredibly scary. I'm also doing Skull Beneath the Skin and am planning to do the exact supplementary texts as you :| They sound pretty good - then again you can really use any crime fiction thing as long as you can argue it. NCIS is pretty different and I would say the Lemony...

What looks hot and sh*t on the opposite sex! Tell all thread

If I see one more guy with a Country Road bag or in a skintight fluro tank top, I'll spontaneously combust.

What have you sacrificed for the HSC this/next year.

I haven't really given up anything yet - except dancing, which I hated (and that was months ago). Seriously guys we can't do nothing but study. If you're dropping everything already, what are you going to drop next year when the pressure's REALLY on? We should give ourselves a break - it's...

    ONE day!

It's usually English and Science on the first day, in that order. Good luck guys. You'll be fine - don't waste time stressing over it. And make sure you eat between the morning and afternoon exams - seriously - friends of mine passed out in the hall 'cause they'd been too nervous to eat...

    Parents' role

I'm actually not; my parents apparently should be though based on their strictness and educational expectations (actual comments made by my Asian friends).

    Parents' role

Well, my mum listens to me rant about themes and techniques and facts and figures until I fully understand them. She also cooks me excellent food and stuff so I have the energy to work hard, and encourages me and that stuff. Plus she turns up to P/T nights and reads my reports, giving me money...

    Study Discussion

Re: Write notes or type notes ? I prefer writing them because I have this weird kind of colour-coding/highlighting/layout system that I've devised; plus because I think it helps me remember. But typing notes out has its benefits as well - I do that too because eventually I get sick of...

What do you feel when you drop a subject?

My Ancient History teacher practically cried when I told her I was dropping it... that was at the beginning of term and since then she's tried to convince me to keep it with various ploys as if I was breaking up with her. :| :| I really hated Ancient - I had to take it 'cause of timetable...

    Fav. Teacher sayings?

At the beginning of Year Eleven this year, our deputy said at our first assembly: "Going home is not a right, it's a privilege!" Set the tone for our whole year :D
