no ours are 56 minutes every period every day of the week (except mondays after assembly then thier 45 for 3&4 then normal again). See so far you all have timings but ours are standard, and same every day i feel so structured lol

I use pen and paper aswell and occassionally bring my laptop to school and use it for in class assignments. And when i take it to english i put dictation on and let it type what ever my teacher is saying saves a lot of effort (but don't do this very often cause me and my friends tend to discuss...
um, one i've already done the HSC last year so i went under exceptional circumstances and Bachelor of Archelogical Practices focusing in the area of Anthropology specialisation in Forensic and Biological. So thats why, they have different entrance schemes for different things, i fell into that
wow are periods are really long aren't they you guys have like 40 minute ones (average) and ours or 56 mins so basically an hour and a double of 115mins (basically 2 hours) wow WTH is going on, who has a period time of 50+ minutes

Now for the GREAT news (for me), i got a call from a uni yesterday arvo (ANU) and i have be considered for entry in 2010 (basically garranted a place) the only condition is to get band 4 and above in 90% of my subjects...
it can be done for both
eg

the "cat...ate a ... fly"
she was "fat ... with purple wings"

in the HSC exams, any form of writing can be asked. Speech, creative, essay, report, trace these are the main types. But always in all, Creative and Essay, and usually Speech in some. ANY FORM CAN BE ASKED
a person in my year had to work so she got someone from the class to "babysit" it, well he got pissed off and ripped out the box-key thing and broke the baby, needless to say she failed.
