    Should I try to make friends in uni?

    Lol I make friends with people I meet in my lectures or tute, since I always see them at least once a week in those situations. Whereas in buses/trains it's always unfamiliar people even in the latter stage of the semester.

    Ahhh what course? I know someone in a similar boat,he's planning to go to ANU to study psychology since he doesn't have the ATAR for the unis in sydney and he also likes the challenge of being independent, which is undoubtedly a critical skill in the real world and the work place.

    Don't work ahead?

    The benefits of learning ahead is being able to master them without getting behind with the topics coming up, so I was able to attain higher marks in exams without putting in extra work a few days before.

    The only purpose of the HSC is to gain entry to your desired uni course, if you already achieved that,don't bother. If you didn't,still don't bother,prove it at uni, and transfer from there. I mean, if you actually repeated, you'd probably be regretting the fact that you wasted 1 year rather...

    oops I missed that. So you're only given the average depth of the river, however it doesn't give the depth of the deepest region of the river where it could possibly be much greater than your height(like 5m). So it's still possible to drown at the given river since you don't have enough...

    help with a question

    to clarify this, when they ask "greatest coefficient" do they take the sign into account? like say you have -35 and 28, would the -35 be the greatest since they ignored the negative?
