    How do HSC marks work?

    If your are second internally, you will get the 2nd highest external mark from your cohort as you internal mark. So if your cohort is pretty decent, 2nd and 3rd should be fine.

    Handwriting or typing notes?

    Although typing has certain advantages(e.g. can easily update), I like handwriting as you can put in diagrams and pictures easily. Plus you absorb the info well.

    No, I think 37 degrees should be right- human body temp. But I don't think BOS would be too picky.

    I agree with many of the above posts- many tutoring colleges are not that interested in helping their students. I think that one-on-one tutoring is much more effective, as the teaching can be adapted to a pace comfortable for the student. This helps ensure they receive personalised attention...

    Is 3 sciences too much

    3 sciences is fine if you like them, and you're looking at doing something science-related in Uni. Eco is a good subject, I enjoyed seeing how theory related to real life situations.

    Effective study skills!

    Yes, study how you have been in the past. HSC year is not the time to experiment. Try not to burn out, but that said- put in your best effort and hopefully you will get a good result.
