    can someone explain why a weak acid + weak base titration is hard in terms of determining the equivalence point - is because since the ph does not change sharply it is hard to recognise the endpoint, hence making it harder to find the pH at equivalence point?

    Does it do with the fact that the log has an absolute sign - which when considering ln(1-x), we should be quite careful off, since it contains a negative x?
