    Don't you experience a zero gravitational force when you are in the centre of mass of either planet, since the overall vector sum would cancel out when you are in the centre as opposed to being somewhere else like the surface of the earth?

    Where would the greatest amount of gravitational force produced between two planets, perse earth and mars as per Newton's universal gravitation? I am thinking at the centre of both planets? what would the answer be with reasoning - thanks in advance!

    Confirm answers q - gravitational fields

    For part (a) I wrote that Model X assumes the gravitational field strength to remain the same and that Model Y and X both assume that only a difference in potential energy occurs - is this valid or what would be a better answer?
