EDIT: ^Speaks the truth. That isn't really financial hardship - not being able to pay for tutoring (although some students apply anyway and get 1-2 ATAR points). Some people are genuinely disadvantaged. E.g. some of them have to work more hours to support their family instead of lending time...

When I went to enrollment day a USYD advisor told me to pick ECON1002. But its unnecessary so I'll probs drop it. Just hoping they don't involve too many essays.

good luck! 92 atar will give you a good shot at it. yeah. I'll pick up engo or do Comm (lib studies - major in economics for the arts side) after semester one. Called USYD they said they will take into account my atar only.

are you guys doing double degrees because you are still unsure about what careers you want or because a straight B comm seems like a bludge compared to science
