The same thing can be said in reverse. It depends on your perception of ugly, as well. I've seen some really hot asian women date white men. Of course there are ugly ones too, but that's the same with same race couples, too.
You see it all the time, howver, it's not that common to find asian men married to white women. My dad's eurasian, and my mum's white. My dad's mum is asian and his dad is white.
I reckon it sucks how not all units have i-lecture. 7/7 did for me last year, 2/4 do (so far, I'm not sure about MUS 100) this semester. MAS 205 doesn't though, and it's hard for me to get to the lecture. Is it that hard to record it?
Introduction to the Cinema. Has anyone here done this? Just curious, because I've looked at the CO-OP bookshop and course note shop, and it seems there's no text book required.
Generally they don't start until Week 2. Last year I had 2/8 start in the first week though, so it's possible. If the lecture is before the tute, they'll just tell you then. If not, then as suggested above, email the convenor.
Some people in this thread are mistaking ethnicity with race. Race is black, white, asian. My parents are an interracial, and intraracial at the same time, because my dad is half white/half asian and my mum is white.
I now I'm going to be called racist, but this is just my opinion, and I am 3/4 white and 1/4 asian anyway (my dad's half asian/half white and my mom's white). I general, but not always, white people are friendlier, at least in my experience, and asians are more pushy.
Thanks. I am doing Actuarial at the moment, but want to do Media as well. So I guess I should just pick like say, 2 subjects similar to the ones I did last year, and 2 media ones? Do I have to senrol in the Media Course as well, or is that just enough?
