    Memorising Polyatomic Ions

The chemicals that you encounter in the dotpoints will be necessary to remember, like HCl and C2H3O2 etc

Haven't studied at all these holidays

If that's the case, then you have 2 weeks to get set for those essays! :P Take the motivation from brbstudying above, I don't have such clutch stories but it's clearly possible. You'll be able to reverse your half yearlies, and the HSC exams themselves are worth half of everything anyway, so...

Haven't studied at all these holidays

When are you trials? If you focus on the next few days consistently, you will be able to do well depending on how much you remember already. The best suggestion would be to brush up on most of the content, and focus primarily on your weak areas and the key concepts.

    HSC Trials Prep

Different tasks take different amounts of time. I could do a chemistry paper and a physics paper, which could total to 6 hours+ including marking, or I could do a bunch of maths exercises and revise my notes in the same amount of time. My point is that I think the goal really is to set out a...

    co-60 agriculture or industry

I would say agriculture considering it is related to food. The industrial use of Cobalt-60 would be its use in industrial radiography.

    Binders/Folders vs Notebooks vs Laptop

I take a binder to school for my subjects (Sometimes use spiral bound books for 3U and 4U). I then put these loose leaf papers into separate folders at home at the end of each week, although I rarely look at them again. I have a set of notes on Google drive for each subject (Phys, Chem...

Around 2 months left for trials, relearn content or do practice questions?

I think it would be appropriate to starting doing practice questions on your subjects. Depending on your subjects, this will really awaken you to your weak spots as it does for me all the time, especially with Mathematics, Chem and Phys. You'll be surprised if you mark yourself critically how...

    Studying Maths tips?

Before you consider self-studying maths, make sure you understand the content you have covered in class well. From there, you should probably start pre-learning content that your class will be covering in the near future, so essential accelerate their order. This way, what you gain from...

    HSC Trials Prep

I have my trials from 25th July onward, so I have ~2 weeks left to study. For me I have tried to do 3-4 subjects a day as there is a lot to cover before my trials start. I did take the first Saturday and Sunday off though to rest. Depending on your subjects it will make more sense to do 1 a day...

Ranks and the gaps in between

So from the 2nd half or so of your message, the goal is to try really hard in HSC exams to close the gap? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Typed vs. Handwritten study notes

I have my notes for my subjects typed, except maths notes which are written (Self-explanatory) I find it quicker and easier, especially adding images and that sort of thing. Have no colour printing though so its a bit of a tradeoff

    Jersey names

Do you have a nickname at school, or some sort of in-joke that you and your friends understand? At the the same time, is it something you'll remember and find funny in the years to come? (If you plan on keeping the Jersey lol) We were only allowed to write our first or last name on it so...

So what if you ranks are spread out by decent gaps but in the HSC exam you get like 2nd place, close to 1st? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Will I be able to get an ATAR of 65?

I'm certain you'll get above65 easily with those marks/ranks if you continue to perform well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Estimate of ATAR

94-95 ATAR from what I can tell. The recommendation would be to try and bump up your Modern History and Advanced English. That would, consequently, raise your rank in both as well which would be good! Best of luck :D
