It seems that MATH2065 always has 8am lectures in semester 2 :mad2: Last year, starting from week 3 or so, fewer and fewer people turned up until the last week of lectures (for revision/hints for the exam) :tongue:

I had the same issue. Sydney Student won't allow you to do 6CP subject once your selection gives you 141CP. So you will have to apply for special permission to do one more 6CP subject (there's an option that says your reason for applying is because you want to exceed the maximum credit points...

That's true. In fact, this "friend" of mine actually gets good grades, but he still tries to come up with excuses (like saying he missed a few weeks of lectures because he was sick when I actually saw him attending the lectures) or pretend that he's about to fail, just to take advantage of me...

It's a shame that I'm too timid and I don't dare to say that in front of them :frown2: I guess I'll just ignore their message until the assessment is over and pretend that I was so busy that I didn't have time to talk with them. :p

I'm so fed up with "friends" who literally never talk with you throughout the semester, and each time they send you a Facebook message it's because they want you to help them out with something (asking for help with an assignment, or asking for the contents of an exam that you sat before them...

Don't worry, you might get surprised when you see the final mark and grade This happened to me last year :)

I actually wanted to suggest another unit instead -- that unit has extremely hard material and an extremely unhelpful, irresponsible lecturer. :mad3:

I agree. Last semester MATH2968 made me feel so hopeless. :(

I remember last year's MATH2962 exam was quite hard (for me) :frown2:

For two of my units of study (which are the hardest ones I'm doing this semester), I'm like one or two tutorials behind. :( Luckily all the examinable material has been covered in lectures so I can start revision. :frown2:

Only a very basic understanding of probability and statistics is required for MATH3075 (like how to calculate expected values; a basic understanding of the normal distribution is also needed for the last chapter). I did MATH3975 last semester without having completed any of...

For most of the (maths) subjects that I've done, week 13 was a revision week. :)

Are you serious!? :eek2: Anyway, what arrangements were made when you had a clash? Did you still have to take both exams on the same day (like one in the morning and one in the afternoon) ? Or could you ask for one of them to be held the day before/after? Thanks. :)
