Possibly, but I wouldn't be surprised if Tyra did something to make sure that that would happen.
Anyway, Anchal is sort of close to that level and the judges seem to like her. She has potential.
I swear I read my study guide and there wasn't a single thing mentioned about food. Either that or it was so insignificant I skipped over it :mad1:
EDIT: Well, there was stuff about food, but nowhere did they use the word 'thermopolium'
I didn't finish early in the end, but I did give myself almost an hour to finish the final essay.
I suppose I could have crapped on a bit more on the personality question, but I felt 5 pages was enough.
This has been stated before, but you needed to refer to the actual source for that question, like, say they were weeping and invoking death or something like that.
I dunno, they might decide to give marks for that
Also, it was about the education of Spartan boys, so you'd probably only go up to the 13-18 stage. So really, just say some stuff about obeying the state, comradeship, loyalty, respect for elders, bla bla bla and you should be fine.
Ha, you must go to the same school as me then. :P
Felt pretty good about it overall, except that bastard food question, but at least it was only 4 marks. Also, so glad the Delian League question was easy, since I know nothing about Miltiades or Leonidas. I wrote almost 7 pages which is some...
10 marks on Lykougous, I think I'd just die if I saw that.
I think they could have swapped the agoge and the women question around and it would have been more appropriate (in terms of marks), but there was enough to talk about either way.
I did end up getting The Information today.
Might post my cover art up later :)
Also, I had to get some singles to fill up my Big W voucher, so I just grabbed the only two there which didn't look awful - Chewing Gum by Annie, and Low Happening by Howling Bells (I don't actually like this...
It's a good album, but a fairly standard fare in terms of shoegazing. It doesn't jump out at me as much as other releases in the genre.
But I've heard others describe it as a classic, so...
Difficult. Most of my music comes from 90s/00s but the 60s/70s have a lot more 'classic' albums overall.
But in all, over half my music library comes from the 00s, so I suppose I'll have to go with that.
