    Does God exist?

To repeat myself a little bit: An aptly conclusion of this thread: Truth is unfortunately black/white. So that is I guess the real matter. What is reality? What is really true? Is it just science and what it can determine? Or it is other fields, like history or literature studies? Or some...

    Does God exist?

To conclude our discussions DrSoccerball, so you don't have to worry about time: My conclusion on matter, I am not convinced, historically or literally (as literature) of the Quran’s truthfulness, especially not when it doesn’t seem to: 1. Engage with the previous revelations to correct, rectify...

    Does God exist?

DrSoccerball... That’s the concept people had of the time of seeing, that you need eyes, doesn’t rule it out as impossible. I can just make a simple substitution in the paragraph. Concerning me assuming, well the reason is firstly, the Old Testament and New Testament are not a single text...

    Does God exist?

I think this should be worded as: I was referring mainly to the argument "God doesn't exist because of evil" but in a limited way, can possibly apply to this topic in general. There isn't a lack of empirical observation as such, more so that the scientific evidence is hotly disputed, which is...

    Does God exist?

I am sorry but the fact that specific miracles do not occur, does not mean they do not occur at all. It seems to make certain demands of God, and the question is of the same form as "Why doesn't God just end suffering?" But secondly, miracles serve a particular purpose. Thirdly, I don't have...

    Does God exist?

I cannot remember if I have addressed this one in the past. Here is another one, which I am suprised you didn't pick up on I cannot carry out my fierce anger! I cannot totally destroy Ephraim! Because I am God, and not man– the Holy One among you – I will not come in wrath! – Hosea 11:9 Let’s...

Sydney schools evacuated after multiple bomb threats

Like I said earlier, not all war torn people are Muslims. Most aren't. And yes, the point of making that comment, was noted aptedly, earlier. I don't think Muslims at least in Australia; are the kind of people, that would be violent etc. I was most attacking the assumption that all refugees are...

    Does God exist?

Hmm... that when you reply to the second before the first... === Mine is in italics; sorry a bit hard to put quotes. The original is non-italicised. My first general comment, is for a commentary that makes only one reference to the Quran, hmm.... puzzling 35. God has two kinds of words, one...

    Does God exist?

The same could be said of Muslims, that don't question. Christians do not assume Jesus to be Son of God; and certainly not in the way that the Quran thinks what they mean. Like I have said: "How can God see without eyes?" etc. are similar kind of questions, yet we have no problem saying that...

    Does God exist?

Like I said, you agree on the Virgin birth as before and the pre-existence of Jesus. Not necessarily. 1. God did not cease to exist when Jesus died; neither did the Son either. Christians and Muslims disagree on what death actually is. This might explain better that I can...

    Does God exist?

Begotten=born. Doesn't imply conception through a sexual act. "What is a son ? From what we know its the birth through sexual acts or through other methods such as IVF. So If God says he has a son that must mean he reduces himself to the lower levels of animal acts. Also why would God create...

    Does God exist?

    1. I have already explained why the term "begotten" does appear to be likely in the earliest texts, which are present, well at least in John 3:16. I have also explained that the Quran significantly misrepresents the Christian view of the incarnation, especially by what Christians mean when they...

    Homogenous and heterogenous mixtures

Homogeneous refers to a substance that is composed of a single substance for example elements or a mixture that has roughly a uniform composition or structure. Heterogeneous refers to a mixture that is composed of different substances without a uniform composition or structure.

    10 vs 12

Not really because the subject you do crap in still counts, unless it is History Extension which is like why did you pick it up in the first place. 11 units is really for those who do ext 1 maths, or extension history. But 11 units isn't any better than 12.

and Mormonism. As you put "religious" in inverted commas, there needs to be some measure on determining on what basis is one book determined religious. Texts that may form the religious text (for instance texts like those that make up Vedas or the Bibles which are collections rather a single...

    Does God exist?

Sure, that is fine. And yes, I agree that science and religion do not contradict each other, but it depends on (1) the religion and such interpretation especially of texts like Genesis 1 etc., (2) whether one holds exclusively to naturalism.
