what raw mark would generally be required to achieve a band 6??

isnt that what aligningis for at the end of the day, the board of studies direct specifies that for example, a band 6 (and any other band) in one year is the same as a band 6 or whatever in any other year...

its november, cause u get the year and then in terms of months, something like 10.23, whihc means the 11th month, november.

hopefully it comes out as one of the few missing, and when they match it with the school, they will know its urs (thats if u r the only one who didnt write ur number from ur centre)

damn man... -__-, thats a really good mark... i have done the t 6 exams so far, and i think that 2002 was the easiest, yt i ahvent done 2001, but i also thought that the 2003 paper was prety good. i am getting marks roughly 102-108, which is good personally, as i am aiming to get a Band 6, but...

he answers questions 6-10 of the pas papers... so each s 1.5 hours...

internal mark does not account foranything excpet rank- so need to know rank. but the rank then determines an internal amrk, averaged with the external mark

lyounamu... doi u think that a raw mark of 97-98 out of 120 would give a mark of about 91??? do u know any websites which have shown past raw marks and there equivalent final marks???

ah, i see... u raise a good point but i kno also that heaps of people dont try for the SC either, cause it doesnt really count if u do the HSC...

Prelim- School Certificate is well... not a good indicator... the prelim mirrors the hsc exams with simply the prelim topics, for example, english is content based rfather than the literacy based sc....

in any Maths HSC (half yealy, trial, and the final exam) i aim to finsih questions 1-6 or at least 1-5 in the first hour, and then by 1 hour 30 mins, have completed questions 1-7, so as to leave 30 mins for each q 8, 9 and 10. i also aim to pick up the full amrks ion the first 7 questions, and...

u guys r making me feel guilty with ur insanely large amounts of study per day... i am trying to do 1 past paper per day for my accelerated maths... so 3 hours per day, but wanna start to pick it up soon... extra revision and stuff.... wat do i do??? feel so guilty... :confused:

Re: Should English be Compulsory? Yes- although you have technaiues and that, it is the fundamnetal of the English language, nd if u seek to join the workforce i Australia, i believe that u should have completed english in the past..
