For any of you Bio-lovers out there, Aerobic Respiration nearly always produces 38 ATP..
Why?
1. 34 from the Electron Transport Chain.
2. 2 from the Kreb's Cycle.
3. 2 from Glycolysis.
Hence, 34 +2 + 2 = 38.
Therefore, Aerobic Respiration produces 38 ATP.
There are a few exceptions...
