    Peak science

Yes, they take in Year12, not sure if they do at this time of the year. Rates are $20 for 90minutes for Chemistry. Same rate for Physics. The Peak Science guy genuinely cares for his students and a fantastic teacher, I suggest him.

    Atar guesstimate

About ~mid-70s imo. Remember, the average ATAR is about 70, and since your ranks and school ranks are much above the average.. 80 is probably the best at the moment. Work harder!

If you don't get a ATAR you expect can you repeat HSC?

yeah you can repeat just one subject. that's how it works for accelerated kids :) .. they can use their past marks =p EDIT: and you can certainly still get 97ATAR+, as long as you do well in rest of your assessments. remember, they send off your rank to the BOS, not your mark =p so don't lose...

    My dilemma.

I feel that 1984 does not really tackle the issue of "belonging" and deals with "not belonging" a lot. The themes are issues don't really fit all that well. It would help if you told us your core texts, because that should ALWAYS be considered, because, you doing English Ext 2 very well know...

Another one of those threads seeking for advice on subjects.

I highly suggest that you wait until half yearlies to drop a subject, if you wish to do so. After the half yearlies, you have a clear indication of your place in the "HSC course", and your tests may be harder, or less difficult than the HSC itself. Teachers have been tell us students not to drop...

    help with Sulla!

Quite a hard question to answer. I have some suggestions, but i am leaning more towards disagreeing. Sulla's reforms changed the way how Julius Caesar and Augustus would act, and they were both prominent Roman figures in Rome. His proscriptions gave idea to the second triumvirs to kill off all...

Physics as a requirement for university?

Usually, if physics is required, then that course evidently involve a lot of physics. Therefore, you should further look at the course to see if you can stand the amount of physics content first. If you think you'd be better off and able to gain a higher mark in other courses then go for it and...

    Truongs Maths Tutoring, any comments?

Best things - the tricks, competitive environment, truong's way of doing everything just makes things easy. Worst things - there's only one thing that bothers me, rarely.. the answers to the homework are wrong. but this only happens on easy topics so you know you're right. well.. i believe his...

Whats the hope for people to get around ATAR 30? There should be some way for them.

Re: Whats the hope for people to get around ATAR 30? There should be some way for the I wouldn't believe them when they say they would put in a heap of effort, with someone who gets 30-ish ATARs, they would have been accustomed to doing nothing in class, and no studying whatsoever. TAFE is the...
