jsut watch lots and lots of dramas and lsiten to music. that improves ur listening and maybe speaking if u sing to it. other than that, buy books with pin-yin in them-that helps alot in pronounication

there's no point in doing chinese background in year 12 if ur not actually chinese background. i did it this year and it was horrbile. it's like another world there since everyone has an advantage over you. only chinese continuers and ext. chinese scales u well. if u do crap in background...

i usually aim for liek 10 hours a day but i lost sooo much sleep during exams. i slept at like 11 and woke up at 3 next morning to study till 8 xD
