At my school, marks spread like fire anyway- it doesn't matter whether you told people or not, everyone would always know the top marks in any test within an hour pretty much haha. With HSC results and ATAR, if someone wants to know, I'll tell them but I try to avoid bringing it up randomly

Pretty excited for uni tbh- should be fun. And commerce/law. Still tossing up between UNSW and USyd but leaning towards UNSW

Note: I did all this and I got above 97 though there is no guarantee that you will -> it's all an independent thing (some will get 97 easy, others won't). Good luck though :)

In 40 mins, I reckon you should be hitting 1000 no worries. I would personally write somewhere between 1100 and 1200 generally lower end) though obviously all this depends on how the question suits you, how much time needed to think etc

Yeah this. I know some of my friends that got .95 and they had amazing UMAT's too so they were into pretty much any uni in NSW but they still had USyd in their preferences somewhere even though they had things like UNSW first

You can afford to be slightly lower in say english if you pump maths and sciences as well. From what I've seen of you in those parts, you seem very solid so I reckon you'd have some leeway in that regards
