I'm pretty sure Object Y was a data logger but i wasn't sure if there was some scientific term for thermometer, i.e. some kind of thing that only measures core body temperature...because if it was just a thermometer wouldn't it be affected by the ambient temperature, hence the experimental...
That's what i thought, but i'm unsure of what's the difference between Cytotoxic and Killer T cells, i put (D) but that's only because it's more correct..(scientifically speaking)
But aren't Cytotoxic T Cells, Cell mediated - i.e. They only affect infected cells. Whereas B-cells are actually Blood-mediated...i.e. They attack the antigens directly?
Re: Wow, fuck that
This. I do 4U as well, and i actually think i did better in my 4U exam than today's exam... I was working to the very last second as well :|
I think i i remember correctly it had theta for both angles at the bottom and the top so using alternate angles it gave you the same result....it was different
Yeah i agree, i was looking through it - hmmm i can do parts of Q8 most of Q7 and the first 6 should be easy enough. Get to them - Oh, well this is awkward
Extension subjects don't use bands 6,5....etc..
Extension subjects have e1,e2,e3,e4
These bands correspond to being marked out of 50 (usually the case for most extension subjects - aside from Mx2, EE2
So e3 = 35-44/50 = 70-89/100
and e4 = 45-50/50 = 90-100/100
I don't think they complain totally about the score but mainly the fact they could've done better and possibly state ranked...
But i'm on par with you - just trying to get into e4
Yes, i'm with you on that - q1 and q2 pretty similar to previous years. q3 - no graphs, mathematical induction, Conics (was expected)
The rest of it was pretty over the place, poly here, mech there
Re: paper
i was going through - thinking, yeah this isn't too bad - i can answer parts of q7 and q8 but then like the middle questions, just - i suppose different
For the cylindrical shells i would include it, it doesn't take much time extra maybe 5 more seconds?? But if you have a look at the MX2 syllabus it actually says that you need to be able to come to V = 2pirh etc... So i'd say do it, unless you don't know how to - then don't do it :P
It depends on your definition of Rich, if you mean in terms of family (parents are rich, and student lives in a mansion) or whether you mean. A student that has made everything he owns (e.g. Youtube videos...)
