Nah tbh you should just focus on your skills during prelim. Perfect your skills, experiment with study habits. I think what people mean is don't put die hard effort into all your subjects. For maths, maybe. But for the others, just perfect and experiment with those skills, so come HSC time, you...

I think the stimulus for us was how adolescents are expected to do so much more than they can. There's so much pressure on them...things like that.

I felt like it was more science based that maths based. It had all this weird physics stuff in it too. For the writing task you do not need to write a creative - I suggest you write something you are good at writing at. So if you feel like you are better at improvising an essay then go ahead...
