    Band 6 Cut-off

I don't know. It was hard but doable. However it was certainly harder than last year due to the ambiguous and wired questions. I'll probably say around 70. If that is the case then I'll be cheering!!!

    Multiple Choice

okay I get it now and I apologise for my false argument. but, the question asked for the decreasing of electrochemical activity which means the more negative should be first and the more positive is last. anyways... I'm gonna start studying for physics now. Chem is done and nothing can be changed.

    Multiple Choice

lol wth. You're contradicting yourself. That extract supports reactivity series is the same as electrochemical activity. Therefore the more negative, the more it is likely to lose electron thus it has higher electrochemical activity. Which is pretty much the same definition as a reactivity series.

reduce- give away electrons? Oxidise- gain electrons? c'mon. At least brush up on your basic informations before making an argument

    questions about industrial chemistry.

What was your mass of cacl2 from a tonne of nacl? What were your explanations of the anode and cathode... Like what was the bubbles, why was the litmus red at positive and blue at negative?

    Industrial Chem ?!

I think it's fair to say that most exams this year is hard... Well not necessarily hard but just different from what is expected. I think you needed to actually know the concept to answer the question. eg equilibrium and titration and all them

    General Thoughts: Chemistry

because the equation only showed one arrow indicating complete reaction. The system was not in equilibrium.

    General Thoughts: Chemistry

Saving myself a spot. Edit: I did quite good I think... Lost 3 marks in mc. Core questions, probably lost 10-15 and then lost probably around 10 marks lost in the option.. So looking at a 65-75. Hopefully no silly mistakes!!! The exam was quite easy but a little ambiguous.. The same as the...
