Well you did ask about black suit with a black shirt. The whole black suit + different shirt colour is what most people do LOL. I felt like that after a solid 1 - 2 months of looking around for a dress

I know you did yours last term :( CALM DAL I don't know much about suits but I did have a solid month of being a companion to all my friend's suit fittings and saw various combinations. I don't think a black shirt with a black suit is particularly dumb but I feel like the shirt shouldn't be...

    Study Timetable

Seeing that you're a 2017er, I recommend you experiment. Achieving lower (not terrible, lower) marks during your Preliminary year due to experimenting with study methods and balancing social/health/study is fine. Good luck :)

    Study Timetable

Whilst planning is always great. A lot of people plan more than they actually implement. I recommend just writing out a list of three priorities that MUST be done, either the night before or the morning of the day. I make sure I have done some work for every subject throughout the week. I also...

    Selective schools with incompetent teachers?

With hard work AND a great maths teacher, I went from a 60% 3U student in Year 11 to a 92% - 96% 3U student to Year 12 not only because I pushed myself but because my teacher has learnt that I learn pretty slow and goes through step by step (while letting all the 4U kids rush ahead without me)...

    summary vs syllabus

Are you asking if you use the Dot Point books and nothing else or asking whether you learn based on the syllabus rather than...learning the whole topic. Wait what, I'm so confused. Because in general, your routine of studying should have many different approaches to it to suit you. And you...

    Doing Pathways - Advice/Experience??

I can't lie when the cohort gives the people doing pathways weird looks in my class. But thats really only because it was our first time ever seeing pathways. Is it too late to change subjects now? :/

If you are currently in Year 11 and have been doing the subject for Term 1 and 2, you will most likely be unable to change your subjects.

You said it yourself. The last time I saw that type of question was back in Year 7. If you can only rote and not be ready to adapt to the question, you should be considering how perilous your position is in English.
