Do both. If you decide you really don't like one, then drop. But history extension can be very different to Modern and Ancient. Also, the content can be so much more interesting in year 12 Extension English. For instance, if you enjoy history, then you'll probably enjoy modules like After the Bomb.
Pedantic on grammar, punctuation, etc. We've had ages to fix these nuances, so there is no excuse. But pedantic on major work concept, I'm not too sure. Guess it just depends on the marker and their subjectivity. Hence, why it is double marked :)
For animal & vet bioscience:
Admission to this course is on the basis of a secondary school leaving qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents), tertiary study or an approved preparation program. English language requirements must...
As far as I knew you can drop any subject besides English up until the day before the HSC exam without any penalty? Of course you have to have enough units to drop though.
You should be utilising both, actually. You can draw comparisons between those who give you questionnaires face to face, and those whom have written them online. Compare the answers.
I only know a couple of my ranks for semester 1 because I haven't gotten my report.
1/3 in Ext2 English.
2/7 in Ext1 English.
2/~37 in Modern History.
2/~15 in History Extension.
1/~20 in Society & Culture.
God knows about Advanced and SOR II.
Good luck everyone :)
I loved Berlin, definitely one of my favourite cities. Rome was horrible, I didn't like it. I would love to go to Vienna. But Prague is probably my all time favourite, it is so beautiful and cheap!
I do 11 units and 3 of my units are extensions. PM me if you need advice and what not. I actually find 3 units easier because I get more free periods to work on stuff.
This might seem like a silly question, but I've been overseas. Have the submission dates for the Society and Culture and Ext 2 English major works been released yet? Searched Board of Studies, couldn't find anything. Wondering if anyone knows, or have they just not been released yet?
Thanks
Mine's a school history/society and culture trip. Leaving on wednesday woo. A bit scared of the holiday time I'll miss out on though, but I'll be learning so much over there anyway :)
