Gerard Whateley (I'd call him an Australian-wide known journalist) lives not far from our store, and regularly comes in. Gary Ablett also used to live close-by, and was a regular shopper before moving to the Gold Coast.

I've never tucked it in, in my one and a bit years working there. Never had anyone comment on it, never had anyone have a problem with it. There is heaps of people at our store that never tuck their shirt in. It doesn't affect performance so I don't see a problem with it.

Also, I'm thinking it's time I finally bought some outerwear to deal with the cold nights. Out of the unisex sleeveless pullover, and the sleeveless vest, what would you guys recommend?

Our new service manager started this week. Showed up for my shift yesterday afternoon, first thing she says is "Hi, nice to meet you. Can you please tuck your shirt in?" Eughhh! She then proceeded to change things up heaps which I wasn't a fan of. Kept switching people around, one person...

Is anybody having trouble looking at rosters on the AllYours website? I have a 'no rosters available to download' message.

We get quite a lot of kids hand in resumes at our service desk. They will sit on the desk for a while, and before you know it, 'Johnny Smith' is arriving for his first shift a few weeks later.

Ooh, is it still Thursday? Just remembered a story. Ya'know how in express there's a little ledge for a customer to put their basket where they then unload it onto the register for you to scan? Well, sometimes some customers will bypass the ledge and just put the basket on the register, and...

Haha yeah, this is my actual 21st birthday party, my birthday isn't until next week, which I'm also working on, which doesn't bother me. But I obviously can't miss the party! Have contacted six of seven supervisors, all have said no. Will ask the last one tomorrow. After that, who knows? I...

I have my 21st next Saturday night, which I'm rostered on for a supervisor shift. Having a terrible time trying to get it covered! Five no's with one more person to ask :angryfire:

Well I have been promoted to supervisor, so I guess that's something.

Last night was one of the more challenging shifts I've had in my time at Woolworths. Was being trained for supervision, so we had four people on instead of the normal three. However, just an hour after our shift started, one of the girls started having a panic attack, and had to be taken...

Unfortunately for me I'm a bit of a worrier, always stressing that I'll sleep-in over my alarm (even though I've never done it before), so I am always up a couple of hours prior to my shift if it's an early one. Tonight is going to be a struggle. Working overnight 12:15 - 7:15, had five hours...

What does SUP-PT-VIC-SAVED-2-30 MIN Break mean on the roster? Obviously get the 30 minute break x 2 bit, but the other?

Yep. Usually leave 10 minutes before the start of my shift, get upstairs with a couple of minutes to have a drink of water, go to the toilet if needed etc.

Victoria. And I think when a customer makes a complaint about not scanning rewards card, we refund the whole transaction, re-scan it, and just scan the card that way. I think.. Earn and Learn stickers started yesterday. YAYYYY!!! :(

My scan rate was 19 last time I checked. It suffers when working in express because I always forget to hit 'enter' when I go to get smokes, especially when there's none in the cabinet and I have to go searching for some in the cupboard. Customers who just stand there without putting their bags...

Worst is when the service manager spots you and goes "Oh just the person I wanted to see! Can you work tomorrow??"
