    MATH 2U or 3U

Go 3U. Apart from the fact that you can drop it if it gets too hard, you'll be a lot stronger in 2U. 3U will give a better understanding of maths and how to do it so if in 2U they throw in a curveball question, you'll tackle it with ease :) It scales pretty well too

BOS Trials 2013 MX1 Discussion Thread

I went back over the paper after (spent another 2 hours on it) and I still couldn't figure the projectile, the last binomial and the birds question :( I felt that too D: Every question seemed so long, felt like a paper full of conics LOL Talking of conics, I can't imagine what the 4u paper...

    CSSA MX1 Discussion Thread

Found it harder than my school papers, but manageable. Just couldn't get the rates of change question. People in my school stuffed up that question too. You actually could factorise it out, but you had to show that one of the terms was even just to prove that whatever inside was still an integer.

Don't want to tell parents my atar

One thing to note is that with your assessment or school marks, ranks are the main determining factor. Looking at your ranks, they're not as bad as you would think. I think that Maths is definitely a worry though you are dropping it, so I guess it won't matter too much. I reckon that hitting...

    Math: Advance VS General

Beyond difficulty and scaling differences, Advanced Mathematics may be a prerequisite or assumed knowledge for certain uni degrees, so do consider what you want to do in uni and check their prerequisites, assumed/recommended knowledge.

    Relaxing Subjects?

I reckon the most relaxing subjects would be the subjects you enjoy. Study and revision would be less tiring for these subjects. For me I found that 3u maths was quite relaxing and didn't take up much study time. We didn't have much assessments either. But for others it was like the most...

What are the benefits of doing 4 unit maths?

Like everyone said, 4u maths is not for everyone. I think the thing is that makes it seem hard are the questions, rather than the concepts and content, which I personally find to be alright. Not to discourage anyone, but some questions can be very demanding, and force you to think a lot and...

    What is your vocal range?

C3 to E5 in chest and head voice C6 with falsetto Falsetto does wonders :D But it does make you lose the capacity to produce your own natural voice though if you overdo it

ATAR estimate - Thinking of Med

If you are who I think you are, then yep, you're from my school. PE isn't too big of a problem for me though it would've been nicer if I did do another subject instead. But yeah, English is just really destroying me and that's going to be what limits me from getting what I want. And thanks :D
