    Careless mistakes

I feel like the amount of careless errors i make is independent of the amount of papers i do. How would you guys tackle this problem?

Re: HSC 2015 4U Marathon Ahh i see, i was just confused due to the +/- sign, so the outer radius assumes the larger x value - therefore a + sign?

Is this useable in an exam without quoting?

Yup, 2u don't have those log laws, so i dont think you can use it either

    Just to confirm something

Not inside core, not sure about optionals though (Although you might want to remember what some esters smell like?)

    Thoughts after half-yearlies.. :( +maths ext2! +your experience?

Hmm, right now, it seems like you're stressing over your work ethics and looking for alternatives. Tbh, if you can trust yourself to do a set amount of past papers every week under exam conditions, i think your problem should be easily solved. Be confident in your methods, i guess thats how i...

Proper explanation for the Meissner effect

Hey Fizzy, how do i approach the magnetic levitation experiment and background information on this? We can only use type II's for experiments, but the explanation for the 'levitation' that occurs in type II's is vastly different from type I's (which is the expected explanation)

Proper explanation for the Meissner effect

At HSC level: Changing Magnetic fields induce currents in the super (F-law). The currents flow in such a direction such that the magnetic field it creates opposes that which created it (L-law). This causes the Meissner effect such that no flux lines can penetrate it. The upward magnetic force...

    Magnetic levitation experiment

Sadly, i need to explain this (part of an assignment) and I can't fathom how I can shorten vortex states, flux pinning, incoherent Meissner effects and everything else into 150 words. should i consult my teacher lol

    Magnetic levitation experiment

Basically, since BCS theory is only applicable to type I, how do I explain the occurrence of the Meissner effect in a type II?

    Magnetic levitation experiment

So I have to design an experiment to demonstrate magnetic levitation. However, how do I explain the results obtained using a type II superconductor? And how do I hypothesise about the physics behind this?

How would I go about revising Chemistry?

Well, to cut down time for revision, question yourself all the dotpoints and see if you can answer them in a succinct manner by writing it on paper. If this seems too tedious, you can do past papers first. Now, for every question and respective dotpoint that you are unfamiliar with since you...
