How to make notes for prelim

Complete waste of time (not an opinion, this is truth) Use someone's notes, cut down their notes by 80% as you go through Refine this through past papers + research

re: HSC Physics Marathon Archive but it DOES make a difference ;) honestly not sure how to tackle the question, considering the many possiblities

    HSC Physics Marathon 2013-2015 Archive

re: HSC Physics Marathon Archive For the equation, perhaps something to do with the flux hinders the validity? I'm assuming the non-uniformity of magnetic fields as a result of (real life) current as well as the linkage of flux between the two coils may possibly affect this

re: HSC Physics Marathon Archive 2005HSC Q24 marking criteria insists that we identify the role oh phonons i'm interested in your answers and will i get penalised (or not given marks) if i recall information that is beyond the syllabus?

    HSC Physics Marathon 2013-2015 Archive

re: HSC Physics Marathon Archive Ok, should i elaborate as to why the rotor chases the field And also mention what happens if a load is applied? Perhaps even go into detail about the end rings and the peaking of each phase? If I'm not exactly sure as to what will score the 5 marks, should i...

re: HSC Physics Marathon Archive - 3 phase AC into the stators that creates a rotating magnetic field - By f-law, the changing mag flux due to the rotating mag field induces a current in the rotor coils - By l-law, the current is in a direction such that the mag field it induces opposes the...

    The BCS theory in detail

That's precisely why I looked for explanations, just can't trust 60% of what HSC says LOL Wiki skips the fundamental concepts, so jumping straight to the London equations doesn't tell me much :(

    The BCS theory in detail

Yeah the wiki article was somewhat helpful , but it doesn't actually explain the principles in detail - only names the relative theories supporting the statements I was looking for specific diagrams, math and physics calculations to explain the effect in detail Thanks anyways

    The BCS theory in detail

I'd like to know both the math and physics in explaining how cooper pairs come to be (bosons). Some papers state that the exclusion principle is overcome by the coupling of electrons through the exchange of phonons, if so, how does that actually explain what is happening at the quantum level...

    The UV Catastrophe

Alrighty, so I understand the predictions made by classical physics, but I'd like to know how everything ties in together. I'm interested in the math, derivations etc. of say the gas laws and the temperature regulation of distribution of energy as well as Planck's quantisation theory and his...

Can someone explain this to me? Thanks

Explanation is a little bit dodgy, not exactly correct. This question is a simple application of Lenz's law and the Right/Left hand grip rule to determine the direction of motion
