Well a lot of people have said that people who do get laptops might lose their ability to write neatly and quickly over time. How did the people with laptops overcome that considering written exams seem like such a huge component in university courses?

Cut offs are inflated really but they represent the amount of people that actually want to get into the course - it's more of a supply thing then indicative of level of coursework or reputation of the course.

That's so bullshit. I hate when people bag out others and say tutoring is just a bunch of spoon feeding. Going tutoring and applying yourself to the lesson requires freaking god damn effort especially if it's right after school. Why not have a certified teacher who can help you beyond the normal...

LOL i don't think any subject of high school any where is comparable or is able to reflect your capability in any particular degree - that's why most things can be learnt through a bridging course at uni.
